Who are we looking for?   

We’re looking for Geotechnical Engineering Interns to join our Geotechnical team this upcoming summer! This is an excellent opportunity to get some real-world experience in the Geotechnical Engineering industry! In this role you will assist technical staff with field and lab testing of construction materials like soils, asphalt, and concrete, and support engineers with geotechnical fieldwork, soil classification, and lab testing.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: 

• Assist technical staff with field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including soils, asphalt, and concrete 
• Assist engineers with fieldwork for geotechnical projects, assist with soil classification of geotechnical investigation samples, assist with laboratory testing of geotechnical samples 

What you will bring to the Team:

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in either Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field  
• Understanding of Engineering fundamentals 
• AutoCAD skills would be a plus 
• Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
