General Production Worker

Schedule: Monday–Thursday / Day Shift - 5AM-3:30PM

Pay: $15.50

Location: Merritt Island, Florida

A growing manufacturing facility in the Merritt Island area is seeking Assemblers to join its production team. This is a great opportunity for entry level individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, are mechanically inclined, and can follow visual, step‑by‑step instructions to produce high‑quality parts.

Job Summary

Assemblers will be responsible for building mechanical components using illustrated work orders similar to IKEA-style instructions. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the physical stamina to stand for 10+ hours per shift in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to visual, diagram‑based work instructions
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Inspect assembled parts for quality, accuracy, and proper fit
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Stand for extended periods (10+ hours) and perform repetitive tasks
• Communicate any defects or production issues to team leads

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude or experience with hands‑on assembly, repairs, or tool use
• Ability to read and follow illustrated work orders
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full shift schedules
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.
