Job Title: General Production Operator

1st 7am-3:30pm mon-fri

2nd 3pm-1:30am mon - thurs

Job Description

We are seeking a versatile General Production Operator who will be cross-trained in multiple areas such as drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, overhead cranes, forklifts, saws, and more. The role involves operating and monitoring machines, maintaining clean work areas, and performing housekeeping duties. You will be responsible for using hand and power tools, loading and unloading machines, and ensuring products make it through the process efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch press and monitor machine functions.
• Perform assembly tasks including pre-assembling and deburring points and rail.
• Use grinders, impacts, overhead cranes, and forklifts for material handling.
• Assist in Frog Assembly Department using overhead/jib cranes, grinders, and benders.
• Run a punch press and operate bending machines.
• Assemble brackets using basic hand tools and ensure guiderails are properly aligned.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform special clean-up duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,IL.
