Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to inspect finished plastic parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. Collaborate in teams of 2-3 people to identify and remove defective or non-conforming parts, pack, label, and seal finished products according to job specifications. You will operate grinders to remove scrap material, change plastic rolls to maintain production flow, and communicate any concerns about quality or machinery. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety, quality, and company policies is paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished plastic parts to ensure they meet customer quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively in teams of 2-3 people.
  • Identify and remove defective or non-conforming parts.
  • Pack, label, and seal finished products according to job order specifications.
  • Read and understand job orders and packing instructions.
  • Operate grinders to remove scrap material when necessary.
  • Change plastic rolls as needed to maintain production flow.
  • Communicate quality or machine concerns to supervisors or appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
  • Extrusion Operator: Oversee each job that runs and ensure completion, monitor and troubleshoot any problems with the extruder.
  • Machine Technician: Adjust machine settings to ensure parts meet standards, work with inspector packers on quality checks.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in general production and general labor.
  • Experience in production, cleanroom, packaging, inspection, packing, and machine operating.
  • Experience working in plastic manufacturing.
  • Plastic extrusion experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work comfortably on feet for 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to work at heights on occasion.

Shift Hours/Pay

1st Shift: 5:45a.m - 2:00p.m. Monday - Friday

2nd Shift: 1:45p.m - 10:00 p.m Monday-Friday ($2 premium)

3rd Shift: 9:45 p.m - 6:00 a.m Sunday-Thursday ($3 premium)

-Base pay ranges from $20-29 depending upon experience and an interview

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cross Plains, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
