Role Description
Lead a beloved boutique hotel in California wine country.
We’re hiring a General Manager for our 51-room, independently owned property with a lively bar and full-service restaurant in Solvang (Santa Ynez Valley).
- Hands-on, guest-facing leadership across rooms, bar, and restaurant
- F&B excellence: menu collaboration, service standards, and tight cost controls
- P&L ownership, budgeting/forecasting, RevPAR and F&B performance, corporate reporting
- Team hiring, training, coaching, and culture-building
- Community relationships with local partners, wineries, and organizations
- 3+ years as a boutique hotel GM
- Strong F&B leadership and on-the-floor presence
- Calm, fair conflict resolution and top-tier communication
- Financial acumen and systems savvy (PMS/POS)

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range 115,000-130,000 plus bonus

Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership, team management, and staff development skills
Experience in hotel operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
Exceptional customer service skills and a strong focus on guest experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, compliance, and best practices
Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic office tools
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred
Previous hotel management experience within a boutique or upscale property is an advantage
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
