Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials into and out of trucks, as well as onto conveyor belts and pallets. You will mix materials to manufacture concrete blocks and load these blocks onto conveyor belts. This role involves physical work, requiring the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently, and is set in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials into and out of trucks, conveyor belts, and pallets.
  • Mix materials for the manufacturing of concrete blocks.
  • Load concrete blocks onto conveyor belts.
  • Perform general labor tasks in a production environment.
  • Engage in physical work, including lifting 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.
  • Capability to stand on feet for the entire shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Mechanical skills or inclination are a plus.
  • Hands-on working experience in fields such as landscaping, construction, or athletics is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a general labor role for a concrete block manufacturer, primarily stationed outside but under a roof. The environment can be dusty due to materials. The shift runs from 6 AM to 3 or 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays optional. Expect to work 45-55 hours a week. The position is an ongoing contract, potentially lasting up to 90 business days with the opportunity for hire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
