Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our dynamic team at our brand new state-of-the-art facility. This role is essential to supporting our machine operators and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators by bringing materials to the equipment.
• Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a focus on safety.
• Limit scrap waste, transport it to the appropriate department, and accurately tag it for waste reporting.
• Perform minor janitorial tasks, such as sweeping floors and taking out the garbage.

Work Environment

brand new, state-of-the-art technology worth over $30 million. Although not climate-controlled, the facility is well-ventilated, with warmer temperatures during the summer. Safety is a priority, requiring steel toes, safety vests, glasses, and ear protection. Our spacious facility ensures you’ll stay active with plenty of walking potential for 10-hour shifts and 50-hour work weeks as operations ramp up.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
