General Laborer

Job Title: General Laborer (1st Shift) ($18/hr.)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer. This role involves working in various aspects of the shipyard, including assisting with projects on tugboats, ferries, and other water transport equipment. Candidate must be comfortable working outside at times. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible after interviewing. Responsibilities

• Assist with various tasks in the shipyard.
• Work on tugboats, ferries, and water transport equipment.
• Perform basic cable and wire pulling, as well as prep work.
• Help with painting tasks, such as rolling and prepping the boats.
• Monitor skilled welders to ensure safety and prevent sparks on the ship.
• Handle and lift miscellaneous materials and parts between boats.
• Drill and put screws into new or renovated boats.
• Perform overall utility work throughout the shipyard.
• Assist other employees with labor tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
