Hours - They have 2 different shifts: 6:30am - 3pm or *8:30am - 5pm* - RIght now rotating Saturdays and get a day off in the week. $18

Job Description

The General Laborer maintains, cleans, and performs preventative maintenance on lawn care and landscape equipment used for rentals, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for customer use. This role includes visual inspections, basic repairs, and direct interaction with customers, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and providing helpful service. Prior experience is not required if you bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean lawn care and landscape rental equipment so it is ready for customer use.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime and extend service life.
• Visually inspect equipment before and after rentals to identify wear, damage, or needed repairs.
• Complete basic repairs and adjustments on equipment using hand and power tools.
• Prepare equipment in the shop or outdoor yard for customer pickup, ensuring it is operational and presentable.
• Support the rental area at the front of the building by assisting customers with equipment needs and questions.
• Provide courteous, helpful customer service as clients arrive to rent and return equipment.
• Work both indoors and outdoors as needed, adapting to changing tasks and priorities.
• Follow safety procedures when operating tools and equipment and when working in the yard or shop.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the shop, yard, and rental area organized and efficient.

Essential Skills

• At least 6+ months of experience operating power tools and hand tools, which may include hobbyist experience such as building bikes or cars.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks, including cleaning, lifting, and moving equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to perform simple repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions.
• Customer service aptitude and the ability to interact professionally with customers renting equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment correctly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Circle Pines, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Circle Pines,MN.
