Positi on Summary and Organizational Relationship: Game Help Workers report to the Assistant Supervisor I and will work in different capacities at the College athletic events. These are part -time positions and generally consist of no more than 19.5 hours per week as scheduled by the supervisor. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. •High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred. •Previous experience assisting with Athletics and game help or knowledge of the sport, preferred. Preferred Qualifications: •Demonstrated experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple complex tasks. •Ability to set and accomplish goals in an independent and/or team setting. •Understanding of and commitment to community college philosophy. Essenti al Functions: Assist with different areas within the department with various aspects of game- day operations, to include, but not limited to: •Concess ions $15.15 per hour (minimum wage) •Ball Boy/Girl (Retriever) $15.15 per hour (minimum wage) •Line judge $65 per game •Wings •Live Stream Coordinator $35 per hour •Announcer •Scorebook •Shot Clock •Stats •Accepts job assignments, as determined at the beginning of each shift. •Ensures a top-tier game-day experience. •Assists with game setup and breakdown. •Adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the College and the Athletics Department. •Regular attendance for scheduled game shifts is a necessary and essential function. •Be available, Monday through Friday, anytime between 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM or depending on game time; Hours will vary and evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
