If you’re at the point where you’re reviewing everything… but still feel one step removed from the bigger picture, this is where that changes.
This is a Fund Accounting Manager seat at a growing real estate investment platform where you’re not just closing books, you’re owning the engine behind the funds. You’ll be managing a team, partnering directly with asset management and IR, and getting pulled into everything from fund launches to valuations and investor reporting.
It’s a mix of credit + equity strategies, complex structures (JVs, loan portfolios, CMBS), and real exposure to how decisions are made — not just reported after the fact.
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading and developing a team of senior accountants
• Owning the close process and all fund-level reporting
• Reviewing capital activity, waterfalls, and investor allocations
• Partnering cross-functionally with IR, tax, and compliance
• Supporting new fund launches and buildout initiatives
• Driving process improvements and automation
What they’re looking for:
• 4–8 years across fund accounting + public accounting
• CPA required
• Strong partnership accounting + waterfall experience
• Someone proactive who can operate without handholding
If you’re looking for a role where you can actually step into leadership, get closer to the business, and have a voice in how things are built — this is worth a conversation.
