Full-Time Faculty Radiologic Technology

The Radiologic Technology Faculty will perform instructional responsibilities as required. Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program.

• Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students.
• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
• Participate in department meetings and comply with department decisions regarding instructional matters.
• Participate in department and institutional assessments of student learning and in department and institutional surveys.
• Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled time.

Bachelor's Degree.

• Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising.
• Documents two years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline.
• Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography.
• Illinois radiologic technologist license.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Documents one years experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program;

• Doctorate preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR or additional imaging modality credential.
• Knowledgeable of the JRCERT accreditation.
• Experience with developing didactic and clinical outcomes/curricula on a program and course level.
• Excellent technology and classroom management skills.

STATUS/SALARY:

This is a regular full-time position with salary to be determined by placement on the faculty salary schedule commensurate with education and experience. This is a 9-month position that
