Role Summary
We're at an inflection point in community banking. Over 300 financial institutions already trust StrategyCorps products, and we're launching two entirely new product lines alongside BaZing Benefits. You'll own end-to-end product management for BaZing Benefits — building from zero-to-one while immediately impacting thousands of banks and millions of their customers.
You'll report directly to the Chief Product and Chief Technology Officer, giving you front-row access to strategic decision-making, technical architecture discussions, and leadership mentorship. This isn't a hierarchical reporting structure — it's a tight-knit builder relationship.
This isn't a traditional PM role. We operate AI-first: Product Managers here become Product Builders who prototype with Cursor/Claude/Lovable, eliminating the friction between strategy and execution. If you've ever felt constrained by the slow pace of traditional product development, this is your chance to work at a different velocity entirely.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership
- Own end-to-end product ownership: for BaZing Benefits, from concept through scale — define vision, roadmap, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership
- Make high-stakes prioritization decisions: what to build, what to defer, where to partner, and what to kill
- Represent the user internally: with conviction, rigor, and data-backed insights
Hands-On Building & Discovery
- Create PRDs, MVPs and MVOs directly: using AI tools — prototype before you spec
- Lead discovery efforts: user interviews, competitive research, and jobs-to-be-done analysis
- Run rapid experimentation cycles: ship, measure, learn, and iterate
- Scope features ruthlessly: down to minimum viable detail, then validate with users and metrics
Cross-Functional Enablement
- Equip Sales, Marketing, and Support teams: to win customers and communicate product value
- Craft messaging for features: that resonates with small and midcap bank executives
- Drive continuous delivery practices: and eliminate blockers to team velocity
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Stay ahead of banking regulations, fintech trends, and competitive dynamics:
- Translate industry complexity: into product opportunities and defensible positioning
- Build deep domain expertise: in deposit products, customer analytics, and relationship banking
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4–6 years in product management, elite consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), or high-growth tech with demonstrated ability to ship products end-to-end
- Builder Instincts: You've written code, shipped products, or prototyped solutions yourself — you can discuss APIs, data models, and system architecture credibly with engineers
- AI-Native Fluency: Expert with modern tools (Cursor, Claude, Lovable, v0, Bolt) — you can turn strategy into working prototypes same-day
- Product Judgment: Proven ability to make prioritization calls under uncertainty: speed vs. foundation, ship vs. iterate, listen vs. lead
- Systems Thinking: You dissect complex problems quickly, identify root causes, and map dependencies across technical and business domains
- Communication: You communicate with precision, decide quickly, and eliminate ambiguity for your team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience at a fintech company or within the financial services industry
- Familiarity with community banking, deposit products, or customer analytics platforms
- Experience with progressive documentation frameworks (1-pager → 3-pager → 5-pager)
- Active participant in fintech or product communities
