Forklift Operator (Load/unloading)

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and support a well‑organized, efficient container management and racking warehouse operation. In this role, you will be operating a sit-down forklift within a fast-pace environment, loading/unloading semis of palletized product. Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks
• Use hand‑held scanners to process incoming totes and racks
• Verify shipping accuracy by reading and confirming paperwork
• Perform both forklift operation and manual warehouse tasks as assigned
• Assist in other departments or tasks as needed

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience
• Ability to successfully pass a forklift test, including driving, maneuvering through cones, and pallet handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work up to 10 hours of overtime and Saturdays as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience using hand‑held scanners and basic repair tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Work Environment

• New warehouse facility built in 2023, supporting expansion from the Davenport location
• Fast‑paced, well‑maintained environment with routine cleaning and maintenance
• Temperature maintained at 50°F or higher in winter and warmer during summer
• Team environment with approximately 10 employees and 1 supervisor
• Initial training and orientation conducted on 1st shift in East Moline

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
