Location: Wharton, NJ

Shift: 7 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (Sometimes Saturdays)

Pay:$20.00 hour

Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is a a reliable and safety‑focused Forklift Operator to work in an outdoor yard environment. This role is responsible for operating a open cabin sit‑down propane forklift to move bags, palletize, assist and load materials stone, granite, mulch, and rock. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in all weather outdoor conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.

The role requires proficiency in operating a sit down, propane (5,000Lb lift.)

• Experience operating heavy equipment / sit down propane forklift.
• Operate a sit down propane forklift safely and efficiently
• Safely operate heavy equipment such as loaders or skid steers for material handling.
• Load flatbed trucks, trailers, and pallets using a forklift
• Move, stage, and palletize materials
• Assist with manual lifting and loading materials as needed.
• Perform cleanup duties to maintain an organized and safe yard environment
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance in Fast‑paced yard and production environment

Requirements:

• Must have Experience operating sit down propane forklift.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to lift and/ move up to 60 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WHARTON, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in WHARTON,NJ.
