Food Service Worker

Overview

We are seeking aFood Service Worker,sometimes referred to as aCafé Workeror Food Service Associate.The Food Service Worker will work in our hospital cafeteria, responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and adhering to dietary guidelines. They support patient nutrition,healthcare hospitality,serve staff and visitors,maintainkitchenequipmentand inventory, and contribute to overall food service operations in our hospital.

Location: Mission Regional Medical Center - Mission, TX

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Prepare and serve food to our patients, staff, and visitors

• Ensure food safety by following hygiene and sanitation guidelines

• Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, slicers, or dishwashers

• Stock supplies andmaintaininventory

• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment

• Take and fulfill meal orders according to dietary guidelines for patients

• Handle cash oroperatea register for cafeteria transactions
