The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest “ski beaches” in the world.

The Food Runner is responsible primarily for assisting the Food Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact.

· Food Running:
o Deliver food orders to the appropriate table.
o Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed in both venues.
o Address any guest concerns regarding their food promptly and professionally.
· Maintaining Cleanliness of Work Areas:
o Perform routine cleaning tasks in the kitchen areas including wiping down surfaces, cleaning utensils, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
o Ensure all kitchen equipment in each venue is cleaned and stored properly.
o Follow all health and safety regulations and standards.
o Sweet and mop expo work areas
· Item Management:
o Return any items from the dining areas of both venues to their proper locations in the kitchen or storage areas.
o Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen or management team.
o Assist in organizing and restocking supplies as needed.
· All other duties as assigned by leadership
