Purpose
The Floral Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the Floral Department to drive sales, profitability, creativity, and customer satisfaction. This role ensures fresh, high‑quality floral product, attractive merchandising, and strong operational execution while developing and supporting the floral team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Floral Department, including ordering, merchandising, and production
- Drive sales, margin, and shrink results through effective inventory control and planning
- Ensure freshness, quality, and proper care of all floral and plant inventory
- Design and execute seasonal, holiday, and promotional displays
- Lead, train, schedule, and develop floral associates
- Maintain pricing accuracy and attractive, well‑maintained displays
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service, including custom arrangements and order fulfillment
- Control waste through proper handling, rotation, and markdown execution
- Partner with store leadership to support overall store performance

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior floral or specialty retail management experience preferred
- Knowledge of perishable handling and inventory controls
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
