Financial Reporting Manager

Position Summary

The Manager of Financial Reporting will lead a team within a shared services environment, overseeing external reporting and ensuring compliance with SEC and US GAAP requirements across multiple entities and subsidiaries.

This role is responsible for managing the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, resolving complex accounting issues, and supporting transaction-related activities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly consolidated financial statements for parent entities
• Oversee the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, identifying and implementing best practices
• Manage the month-end close process, including review of consolidations and reporting outputs
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of senior and staff accountants
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting matters
• Support external audits and quarterly review processes, partnering with auditors as needed
• Oversee preparation and review of joint venture financial reporting
• Participate in and lead special projects and transaction-related initiatives

• Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel required)
• SAP and BPC (preferred)
• Wdesk (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required; MBA preferred
• 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or industry
• Prior people management experience required
