Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Associate

Location: Potomac, MD (3 days on-site)

Compensation: $85-$95,000 base salary, plus bonus and excellent benefits


My client is seeking a FP&A associate in Potomac, MD (3 days on site). The company owns and manages a portfolio of manufactured housing communities and RV parks across the U.S., including locations in Maryland.


Job Description


The Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) Associate is responsible for assisting with the activities of the overall forecasting and planning of the Company. Will work on budgeting at a property level, corporate level, cash planning, and treasury management. This role reports into the CFO.


The following is a list of responsibilities including but not limited to the performance of the FP&A Associate:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.




Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Business-related field preferred
  • 3+ years of finance experience in real estate field and manufactured housing experience
  • Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software
  • Experience maintaining, organizing and preparing budgets and/or cash forecasting.
