Financial Application Specialist

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Four (4) - seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or not-for-profit environments
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle management, payroll, time & attendance, and information systems
  • Ability to lead technical requirements development and manage cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills


Must Have skills

  • More than 4 years of experience in a full cycle implementation of Workday Payroll and or a Symplr / Workday Time and Attendance system.
  • Expert in Payroll and Time & Attendance domain as a functional resource. Example : Proficient in payroll tax compliance, Wage and Hour laws , Overtime requirements etc.
  • Good understanding of payroll data and reporting in Workday / Symplr time and attendance system.
  • Experience with Functional Design, Configuration, Test case preparation, Test execution and remediation , end user training and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and should be able to represent the function with stakeholders.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
