Financial Analyst

RETS Associates on behalf of our client, a leading developer of innovative mixed-use communities in the Sunbelt region, is seeking a Financial Analyst in Atlanta, GA. The analyst will support the CIO in evaluating and executing new developments, acquisitions, and broader investment initiatives. This role offers exposure across the full real estate investment lifecycle, including acquisitions, development, capital markets, asset management, and dispositions. This is a highly analytical, fast-paced role with meaningful responsibility, supporting both front-end investment decisions and back-end execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models, including Excel-driven cash flow projections for developments in lease-up
• Analyze capital calls, project cash positions, and support financial operations and forecasting
• Perform underwriting, valuation, and detailed cash flow analysis across investment opportunities
• Support both capital markets and disposition efforts, including financial analysis and transaction execution
• Prepare detailed investment materials, including comprehensive investment packages and offering memoranda for equity partners and lenders
• Create clear, investor-ready presentations using PowerPoint, with a strong focus on storytelling and data visualization
• Assist with due diligence, legal document review, and closing processes

Qualification's

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or related field
• 1 to 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset, with advanced Excel proficiency
• Excellent PowerPoint skills with the ability to create polished, investor-facing materials
• Experience with market research, underwriting, and investment materials is highly preferred
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to take a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment
