Northwestern College seeks a financial aid and data specialist, primarily to assist in all aspects of financial aid operations, and secondarily to assist with data management and analysis to inform the college’s enrollment strategies. This is a 12-month position, preferably full time, but we are open to a flexible arrangement for the right candidate. The position reports to the director of financial aid and collaborates with the college’s institutional research department. In addition to participating in the preparation and distribution of financial aid offers to Northwestern undergraduate and graduate students, the financial aid and data specialist also assists with government compliance reporting and works with personnel in institutional research to build and maintain data reports and dashboards to inform the strategies, goals and tactics of the college’s admissions and financial aid teams. Required Qualifications: - A college degree in accounting, math, data science, computer science or a related major, or relevant professional experience. - Experience in higher education financial aid and/or data analysis or management is preferred. - Experience with programming languages such as SQL, R or Python is a plus.
