The Role
As a Manager, Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting and building the company’s financial operations. This position offers the opportunity to work across financial modeling, reporting, and strategic analysis while helping to establish foundational processes in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support project-level economics across distributed energy and infrastructure assets
- Analyze project performance, including revenue, cost structures, and return metrics, to inform investment decisions
- Support evaluation of new opportunities, including project development and M&A, through rigorous financial and quantitative analysis
- Assist in structuring and assessing project finance transactions, including debt and equity considerations
- Partner with commercial and development teams to evaluate deal economics and support pricing and bid strategies
- Prepare investment materials and financial analysis for internal stakeholders and decision-making processes
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and key value drivers across projects
- Support broader corporate finance initiatives, including forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant financial or commercial experience, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including experience with investor reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and related tools (including complex formulas and macros)
- Understanding of FP&A, project-based accounting, and financial oversight
- Experience working with institutional investors or external stakeholders in high-growth environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across technical, commercial, and investor audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with distributed energy, microgrids, or energy infrastructure
- Exposure to project finance and energy markets
- Experience with renewable or thermal generation assets
- Knowledge of regulated and deregulated power markets
- Programming or automation skills
- MBA or other advanced degree
