Position: Final Assembly
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Location: Carlsbad, CaEssential Duties:Work as a team or independently to build various finished productsReview written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regularly, follow instructions, and compare finished work to ensure accuracyCompletes finished work within a defined timeframe (build templates are used to track your progress)Compares finished work with provided samplesAssist Production Manager, Supervisor, and Team Lead with special projects and as requiredTrain as a back-up for other departments as necessaryWork in other departments to support business goals and activities as requiredWork as a team and independently to complete special project or target/assigned goalsKeep work area clean and organized
Required:1+ years assembly experienceProficient dexterity using hand tools, power tools, and/or large machinesAbility to build product within a standardized time (build times are tracked daily)Proficient mechanical skillStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be able to lift 60 pounds – this is a very physical jobMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions/temperaturesAbility to stand, kneel, utilize stairs, twist, reach, lift, assemble with use of both hands/arms and freely move from one position/department to anotherAbility to read, write, and speak English at a level that is sufficient to perform the essential functions of this position, to ensure safety, and efficient operation of businessExcellent time management skills - Prompt attendance is required
