The purpose of this position is to supervise the work of crews within a zone for field services, water quality or lift station
maintenance divisions. This is accomplished by visiting job sites, meeting with contractors, participating in meetings and
communicating with staff, customers and other Toho groups. Other duties include maintaining inventory, ensuring all
safety rules are followed, organizing preventative and corrective maintenance, creating work orders, evaluating work of
subordinates, conducting condition assessments, training staff, directing staff meetings, obtaining repair and
replacement quotes, and offering recommendations on personnel corrective action. The employee in this position also
has the responsibility of pricing for new water and sewer services, reviewing data, interviewing prospective employees,
assisting Maintenance Supervisor and engineering when necessary.
Field Services Foreman (CCTV) Essential Functions:1. Supervises and schedules work by ordering parts and materials; assigning jobs; recruiting employees; organizing
work of Field Operations crews; leading staff on maintenance issues; ensuring crews address issues; assisting with
the evaluation on maintenance techniques; and overseeing major in-house repairs.
2. Performs administrative duties by attending supervisor meetings; ordering supplies; helping with training programs;
evaluating work requests; creating PM schedules; evaluating station performance; obtaining repair and replacement
quotes.
3. Communicates with customers and personnel by visiting and meeting with customers; corresponding with internal
customers; addressing customer concerns and inquires; assisting departments with technical advice; directing
training sessions; leading staff meetings; counseling staff; and interviewing prospective employees.
4. Performs repairs and condition assessments; documenting and submitting information; providing field data; issuing
boil water notices; ensuring the proper equipment and personnel; and repairing water, sewer, and reclaim mains.
5. All other duties as assigned.Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the candidate’s ability to perform successfully in this
position will be considered.
Field Services Foreman (CCTV):
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED issued from an approved GED Administrator.
2. Minimum of three years progressive work experience in the utility or construction industry
3. Must possess an active Level 2 Water Distribution License and Class B Wastewater Collection Certificate
4. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Commercial Driver License (CDL)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Field Services Foreman (CCTV):
1. At least two years of supervisory experience
2. Working knowledge/experience of hydrants, valves, locates, and CCTV
3. Ability to read and interpret both property layouts and street maps in GISPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
