Job Description

We are seeking a Field Service Technician based in Throop, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in Mechatronics or similar work experience. This role requires 50% - 70% travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial food processing equipment.
• Conduct operator, maintenance, and sanitation personnel training both in-house and at customer facilities.
• Provide customer phone and email support, including PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Prepare equipment for delivery and setup.
• Perform rebuilding, repair, and preventative maintenance of customer machines both in-house and in the field.
• Conduct building maintenance and general housekeeping duties.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, welding, PLCs, and fabrication.
• Experience with machine shop operations, electrical maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience in repair and maintenance repair.
• Experience in calibration, computer operation, and mechatronics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree, equivalent technical training, or appropriate hands-on experience.
• Experience in electronics, AC/DC drives and inverters, PLCs, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to travel extensively throughout the continental United States and Canada, including weekends.

Work Environment

The shop and training facility is located in Throop, PA. Expect to travel 4-6 days on average across 48 states. Work primarily involves servicing and repairing industrial meat slicers in meat plants.

This is a Permanent position based out of Throop, PA.

The pay range for this position is $63357.00 - $81242.00/yr.

Medical, Dental, Vision - Blue Cross Blue Shield. 80% company paid. After 1 year, 3% IRA. Bonus based on sales/service (was $10,000 last year).Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Sick Time.

This is a fully onsite position in Throop,PA.

This position is anticipated to close on Apr 28, 2026.
