Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Description
The Field Service Engineer supports the installation, startup, and commissioning of automated systems at customer facilities. This role focuses on programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, drives, servos, and robotics, while ensuring that electrical and controls systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with customer requirements. The position works closely with both electrical and mechanical teams to deliver reliable, well-integrated automation solutions.

The headquarters facility is modern and up to date, with large windows throughout the offices, collaborative workstations, and a recently built addition that supports a team-oriented culture.
The shop floor is very clean, well organized, and temperature controlled, with large doors that can be opened to bring in fresh air when conditions allow.
You will regularly work with industrial automation equipment, electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and robotics systems in both the field and the headquarters facility.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
