Job Title: Field Sales Representative – Hub Delivery Partner Program

Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a new delivery partner program in the Medford, OR area by recruiting local small businesses to join a growing last-mile delivery network. You will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit prospective businesses, present the program, qualify applicants, and support them through the onboarding process. The position is highly field-focused, involves regular local travel of up to a two-hour driving distance, and provides the potential to earn commission based on each partner successfully converted.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance to introduce the delivery partner program.
  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses in a clear and compelling way to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
  • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.
  • Lead and track prospecting activity in a CRM system, managing a pipeline of potential partners and updating records accurately in Salesforce.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
  • Partner with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-up communications with prospects to answer questions, move them through the funnel, and secure completed applications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, addressing questions, resolving issues, and helping applicants overcome obstacles in the field.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency in managing leads, scheduling visits, and closing opportunities to meet or exceed recruitment goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to share feedback from the field and suggest improvements to outreach strategies and recruitment events.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-to-door or in-person prospecting.
  • CRM experience required, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, outbound outreach, and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence decision-makers in a business setting.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to represent the program credibly in the community.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in real time.
  • Tech savvy, with experience working with multiple systems, spreadsheets, and technology tools.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while staying organized and accountable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, account management, or outside sales is highly beneficial.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
  • Prior experience in roles involving sales negotiations with customers is advantageous.
  • Experience with outbound calls and sales management processes is helpful.
  • Comfort working with Excel and importing data into CRM systems.
  • Enthusiasm for working with small businesses and building community partnerships.
  • Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and ownership over results.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a Field Manager and other local contractors.
  • Adaptability to new programs, processes, and technologies in a fast-moving environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in and around Medford, OR, with most work performed in the field visiting local businesses and attending community events. You will spend approximately 80% of your time in the field and about 20% working from home on follow-up, administrative tasks, and CRM updates. The role requires daily local travel of up to a two-hour driving distance each way, with mileage reimbursement provided. You will typically work with standard sales and productivity tools, including Salesforce and Excel, as well as phone, email, and other digital communication platforms. The environment is community-focused and fast-paced, with frequent interaction with small business owners, local organizations, and economic development groups. A professional, polished appearance is expected when meeting with business owners and attending community events.

This is a Contract position based out of Medford, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
