About the Role:
Our client is seeking a results-driven Field Sales Executive to support business expansion, revenue growth, and client retention within the logistics and transportation space. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who can build relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver tailored supply chain solutions to both existing and prospective clients.
In this position, you will focus on growing specialized LTL market share while also cross-selling additional services such as LCL, FCL, international air freight, customs brokerage, and FTL. You will work closely with local, national, and international teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, strong service delivery, and continued account growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through daily business development meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs and business objectives are met.
- Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on revenue generation, profitability, and client expansion.
- Become a subject matter expert on the company’s logistics, freight, and transportation solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new pipeline opportunities and present the value of services to prospective buyers.
- Partner with operations to support seamless implementation and onboarding for new clients.
- Use Salesforce to manage client data, maintain an active pipeline, track KPIs, identify trends, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Consistently exceed assigned revenue goals and pricing objectives.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of proven sales success within logistics, freight forwarding, specialized freight, ground transportation, or a related industry.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Hunter mentality with the ability to generate new business while expanding existing client relationships.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple client interactions at once.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create solutions for complex supply chain needs.
- Experience using Salesforce to manage pipeline activity and track performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
