Travel: Up to 80% travel across North America, Canada, Mexico
Interview Process: 1st round phone screen, 2nd round on site in Rochester Hills
Must Haves:
-2+ years of experience installing machines, robots, heavy duty equipment, or related
-Robot troubleshooting/programming background with Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, or related
-Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints and schematics - mechanical most important
-Comfortable with a heavy travel position

Responsibilities:
A leading supplier of automation for manufacturing is looking for an eager Field Installation Engineer to join their team. The Installation Engineer will be traveling to customer sites to support the installation and troubleshooting of robots in the field. Other responsibilities include taking detailed inventory of the equipment, interfacing with customers and team members, and understanding the reading mechanical prints and schematics to determine the process of installing the robot.
Compensation:
$_35__/hr to $___40__/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
