Wage: $23 an hour

Part Time position

The site is a private school with a student population of 900, K-12. The position will manage the student meal card program on a daily basis, with an average of 650 – 700 transactions daily.

The position will provide additional support during meal service which may include light food packaging and assembly as well as catering set-up and delivery.

Qualifications

• Highly developed math acumen
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to communicate POS system position and results in a clear manner
• Previous experience with Cashiering/POS systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Customer focus and service orientation
• Remain professional and use discretion with sensitive information
• Certificate or degree in Accounting or similar field preferred
• Experience with MySchoolBucks and/or Heartland Mosaic highly preferred
• Tolerance of non-traditional work environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

POS

• Manage client’s POS package.
• May involve managing and reconciling client’s users account balances
• Interface with client, parents and students on account balance issues.

Catering Events

• Assist with catering event set-up and break down.
• Assist with serving and clean-up.
• Assist with basic food/beverage preparation such as filling and replenishing coffee urns, setting out beverages and water, etc.

Front-of-the- House

• Assist with serving area line flow during meal service.
• Help with replenishing packaged retail products.
