What You Will Do

ASCENSION-WI is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for our Richmond St Clinic Team in Appleton, WI. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension-Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• On-site Social Worker for Behavioral Health needs
• Lab and Radiology, Optometry, Physical Therapy and Urgent Care on-site
• Very busy practice, with 9 other providers
• Call Schedule is 1:19 weekend rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
• Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
• Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
