Description
SUMMARY
Maintains, inspects, and?operates?utility systems including but not limited to compressed air, process water, product water, and electrical distribution. Responsible for?maintaining?a clean and safe work environment in all areas of the building related to utility rooms, pump rooms, electrical?areas?and water areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Food Safety
Responsible and?required?to notify management about actual or potential food safety?issues;?and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. If this position is vacant for any significant?period of?time?the obligation for completion of all food safety and quality related tasks will become the responsibility of the direct manager or a qualified designee.

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and?3+ years of?related experience?and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with production processes,?machines?and/or tools.?Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical experience?preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, work orders, work instructions, diagrams, safety rules,?operating?and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.?Possesses all basic and?some advanced?skills and knowledge. Has a thorough understanding of the total process flow.
Computer Skills:
Must have basic knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
