Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and building operations to the business of Straumann CADCAM Production. It handles the day-to-day evaluation of operating conditions of the production facility and equipment, coordinates required maintenance, performs analysis of equipment status needed to avoid unplanned down time.
Essential Functions and Duties:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
· Performs preventative maintenance repairs on facilities and building according to Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO compliance
· Participates in installation of manufacturing equipment
· May be required to disassemble, assemble, and adjust equipment according to established plans, manuals, blueprints, or drawings and makes updates to documents as required
· Keep records of equipment performance and problems according to GMP/ISO requirements
· Document building and facilities maintenance repair and locates local vendors
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED
· 3+ years of experience in facility and building operations and maintenance
· Experience with application of hand tools and basic electrical tools
Preferred Qualifications:
· General communication and organization skills
· Knowledge of various building and facilities operations and building systems
· General knowledge of the tools, methods, and practices used in electrical/mechanical repair and building operations
