Facilities Engineer

Description

Will support facilities electrical issues through large plant facility. Will include conducting Arc Flash/Shock Hazard study of facility electrical distribution system and provide labeling for electrical components. Will implement programs in coordination with plant's master electrician. Will be responsible for writing and managing capital improvement budget and supporting electrical aspects of all facility and construction projects to trades leadership. Provide electrical/controls support for powerhouse and waste treatment. Run maintenance of electrical distribution system, including substation breakers, transformers and 480V buss system PM's. Will maintain emergency power systems including generators, fire protection systems and manage inspection of fire safety systems as well as alarm systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical facilities management
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing facility

Preferred :

  • Knowledge of 8D troubleshooting process
  • Visual factory management

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $60.00/hr.
