Job Title: 1st shift Fabricator

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand fabrication requirements. You will operate various fabrication equipment, including CNC machines, welders, and hand tools, to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. You will be responsible for conducting quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to meet production schedules and targets. Troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise and participating in ongoing training and skill development opportunities are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Operate CNC machines, welders, and hand tools for metal fabrication.
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development.

Essential Skills

  • General labor, production, assembly, and fabrication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints.
  • Experience with brake press and laser equipment.
  • 1+ years of experience operating fabrication equipment and brake presses.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC machines and welding is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment

The work environment operates on a 1st shift schedule with the option to work four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday or four 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Start times are flexible, ranging from 2 PM to 3 PM.

The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $33280.00/yr.
