What You’ll Be Doing

• Grind, polish, and finish stainless steel and aluminum components to strict sanitary and cosmetic standards
• Work on tanks, pressure vessels, and custom fabrications using hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment
• Inspect surfaces for finish quality, consistency, and defects
• Read and follow fabrication drawings, work instructions, and shop standards
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized
• Partner with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to hit production timelines
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and finishing quality

What We’re Looking For

• Hands‑on experience with metal grinding and polishing, preferably stainless steel
• Strong shop awareness and understanding of manufacturing expectations
• Sharp attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team‑first attitude
• Willingness to follow direction and support the shop where needed

• Experience polishing food‑grade or sanitary stainless fabrications
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and work instructions
• Comfort working independently and as part of a production team
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed

Work Environment

You’ll work in a machine and fabrication shop specializing in stainless steel solutions for the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and chemical industries. The shop is open‑air (not climate‑controlled). Employees may wear appropriate layers during cooler months, provided clothing is not loose. The culture emphasizes quality, precision, safety, and compliance.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
