About the Role:

We are seeking a senior, hands-on Fabric Architect to work closely with client leadership teams in driving enterprise-wide adoption of Fabric and modernizing the organization’s data platform. This role requires a strong technical leader who can define architecture strategy, guide modernization initiatives, and bridge the challenge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors.


The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across Fabric, Azure data platforms, and Databricks environments, along with strong stakeholder management and enterprise architecture experience.


Job Title: Fabric Architect


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner directly with client leadership to shape and drive Fabric adoption strategies.
  • Assess existing enterprise data environments including Data Studio, Databricks, and Azure ecosystems to define scalable modernization roadmaps.
  • Design and guide modern enterprise data architectures aligned with Fabric capabilities.
  • Enable AI and analytics teams by improving data accessibility and platform integration strategies.
  • Provide architectural guidance on current Fabric capabilities, limitations, and future roadmap considerations.
  • Collaborate directly with vendor teams to drive accountability, technical alignment, and delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to modernization of Data Studio architecture with modular, extensible, and Fabric-aware solutions.
  • Support enterprise data governance, scalability, performance optimization, and platform best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor between technical teams, leadership stakeholders, and external vendors.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Strong hands-on experience with Fabric architecture and implementation.
  • Deep expertise within Azure data ecosystem and enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience working across Fabric and Databricks environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data modernization and cloud-native architecture strategies.
  • Experience working in fast-paced and evolving environments with limited upfront requirements.
  • Proven ability to work directly with executive leadership and senior business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and architectural leadership skills.


Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience enabling AI/ML and advanced analytics data use cases.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data governance and scalable platform design.
  • Familiarity with modern data engineering and analytics architectures.
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise technology partners and platform teams.


Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$170,000 - 180,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
