Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for aF-15Project Engineerfor Flight Simulation Labs,locatedinBerkeley, MO.
The Flight Simulation Labs organization provides support across marketing, design, development, integration, test, and training activities for BoeingAir Dominanceprograms. In theF-15 Project Engineerrole, you will apply that domain expertise as a Program Integrator for F-15 programs, ensuringstatement of work,program milestones, resource allocations,risk,and interdependencies are executed on time and within budget and tracked at the Flight Simulation Labs organization level.
As a project engineer, you will work closely with program stakeholders and crossfunctional teamsrepresentingmultiple skill areasto ensure all plans are accounted for and haveallocatedresources.You willmonitorbudgetandschedule,as well asidentifyingandcoordinatingresources requiredover the life of theSOW.You will compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies,productivityand lessons learned.In a dynamic programenvironment,you will evaluate program performance using established metrics and trend/variance analysesto report to senior leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
Independently works as the Control Account Manager (CAM) and Program Integrator for multiple new multiyear F-15 programs.
Maintains regular and direct communication with stakeholdersincluding project leads, Flight Simulation Labs leadership, and Program Management
Performstudies, analysis (trend, variance, impact, metrics), and risk assessments todetermineimpacts,constraints, and project performance
Collects and presents team status at Program Management meetings, Technical Coordination meetings, and Customer Review meetings
Manages cross team coordination and resources for the organization
Works todriveimprovements inproject management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
Participates in estimates andproposal development byidentifyingactivities, resources and eventsrequiredto complete thework statement
Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution ofplans
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim/Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
5+ years of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
PreviousFlight Simulation, Mission Systems, or Lab experience
3+ years of experience in building relationships with internal and/or external customers
Experience with Risk, Issues, and Opportunities management. Experience using analytical, collaboration,communicationand organizational skills
3+ years of experience as aCAM (Control Account Manager) in EVM (Earned Value Management)
Experience usingtools such asJira, Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project, or Milestone Professional
Experience with U.S. and/or Foreign Air Force customers

Summary pay range: $136,850 - $185,150
