To support the current new data center projects in Indonesia, we are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team and oversee the construction.
Main responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
Review plans and specifications according to the plan.
Prepare plans of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and general piping system.
Provide technical advice to main contractor service provider regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
Analyse mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineering problems and formulate solution.
Identify problems in design and delivering multiple work.
Plan, organize the review and evaluate the work of consultants.
Advise the Project Manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress.
Continually review the main contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of the site works regarding MEP services and report to the Project Manager.
Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.
Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations.
Review the main contractor installation method statements.
Review the main contractor mechanical. Electrical, plumbing shop drawing with the structural engineer to ensure engineering coordination and advise the Project Manager accordingly.
Monitor and promote health and safety on the site related MEP works.
Be available to undertake off site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
Undertake a prior review of the main contractor proposed MEP system testing and commissioning methods and schedule.
Witness on site pipe system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing, and other testing that may be required during the first fix works and advise the Project Manager.
Review on the main contractor testing and commissioning results and advise the Project Manager.
Prepare draft site instruction relating to the MEP building services, as required, and issue to the Project Manager.
Provide advice to the Project Manager regarding any MEP services related to variable costs that the main contractor may claim during the works.
Review and comment on the main contractor operation and Maintenance manuals.
