Experienced Litigation Paralegal

Haworth Barber & Gerstman is a growing Insurance Defense Litigation trial practice. Our team resides in New York and New Jersey and work on a wide variety of matters involving trucking, general liability, construction, product liability and more. We are seeking paralegals with 2+ years of Litigation experience for both our New York, New York and Hackensack, New Jersey offices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years handling litigation type matters.
• Self-motivated organizational and time management skills.
• A willingness to be responsive to attorneys when they call or email.
• A willingness to master your deadlines.
• A willingness to better our industry and your work environment.
• The ability to review and maintain files through trial.
• The ability to draft, obtain and follow-up on discovery including all medical records.
• The ability to draft, review and assemble motions.
• Must be technologically confident, comfortable using case management systems and effectively utilize available technology.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to coordinate attorney calendars.
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and adversaries.

Salary:

$70,000-$80,000
