Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing, is hiring a Executive Assistant to join their team in Cedar Rapids, IA!
**This is a 12-month W2 contract with benefits**
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to a Senior Director of Program Management and the broader leadership team, managing complex scheduling, coordinating travel and events, and supporting departmental operations in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage executive calendars, resolve scheduling conflicts, and prioritize engagements
- Monitor communications and highlight urgent matters
- Coordinate domestic/international travel and prepare expense reports
- Schedule meetings and organize onsite/offsite events, including logistics and catering
- Support department operations (calendars, org charts, distribution lists)
- Track budgets and assist with planning
- Create, edit, and proofread presentations, reports, and communications
- Administer Teams/SharePoint sites and maintain content/access
- Coordinate team events, All Hands, and leadership meetings
- Support onboarding and collaborate cross-functionally on projects
Desired Skills:
- 6–10+ years of administrative or executive support experience (supporting Director-level or above preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365)
- Experience with SAP, Concur, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Strong calendar management and travel coordination experience
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Experience with event planning and coordination preferred
