Job Title: Environmental Services Technician
Job Description

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, sweeping, and maintaining patient rooms, common areas, break rooms, and bathrooms in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and maintaining hospital facilities.
  • Discharge and clean patient rooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, break rooms, and bathrooms.
  • Ensure adherence to sanitation standards and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent customer service.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in custodial, janitorial, and cleaning tasks.
  • Proficiency in mopping, sweeping, and sanitation practices.
  • Hospital experience of at least 1 year.
  • Team-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in EVS Tech and Housekeeping roles.
  • Knowledge of terminal cleaning processes.

Work Environment

Work within a hospital setting, requiring cleaning of patient rooms and areas exposed to bodily fluids and infectious diseases. The role demands standing, bending, and moving throughout the day. Shifts available include 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
