The Event Sales Manager’s primary role is selling Banquet Food, Beverage, and Meeting Room Rental. They must focus on the achievement of their individual revenue goal, the servicing of their events, and facilitating communication before, during, and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. Duties also include business development, contract review, event deposits, menu planning, agenda setting, hotel planning services, and payment collection.
The Event Sales Manager also hosts hotel tours, maintains strong customer, community, and brand relationships. This position participates and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales, events, and operations staff.
This is a salary position with compensation ranging from $70,340-$72,500
