Job Description

We are seeking an experienced estimator with 5-10 years of HVAC and/or Plumbing experience in the construction field. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage deadlines while handling multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Determine crew size and productivity rates for various tasks.
• Utilize a strong background in plumbing, HVAC piping, ductwork, building systems, and codes for commercial, institutional, and light industrial buildings.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents accurately.
• Compile comprehensive summaries of materials and equipment.
• Perform gap analysis on bidding documents to ensure complete system estimates.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Trimble AutoBid, Excel, and On-Screen Takeoff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Experience with estimation, bidding, mechanical preconstruction, and construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with On-screen Takeoff software.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with piping systems, Accubid, and Procore.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
