ERP Senior Specialist

This role functions as a critical bridge between Finance business users and IT, ensuring the structural integrity of financial data acrossOracle ERP CloudorPeopleSoftenvironments.

Job Summary:

The ERP Metadata Support Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP financial data structures, including the Chart of Accounts (CoA), hierarchies, and validation rules. Resource will collaborate with global Finance teams to translate business needs into technical metadata configurations and ensure seamless data flow between ERP and EPM (FCCS, Planning) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• • Create and manageChart of Accounts structures, including segment values and descriptions.
  • MaintainCross-Validation Rules andSecurity Rulesto prevent invalid data entry.
  • ManagePrimary and Secondary Ledger mappingsand reporting cube hierarchies.
  • MaintainCustomer and Supplier hierarchiesto support consolidated reporting and credit management.
  • Configure and updatePayment Terms, distribution sets, and tax metadata.
  • ManageAutomated Reconciliation Rulesto ensure sub-ledger to GL accuracy.
  • Govern consolidation-specific metadata, includingIntercompany (IC) eliminationmembers andLegal Entitystructures.
  • Maintain account and entity hierarchies inOracle EDMCSorDRMto ensure ERP and EPM synchronization.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance business owners and technical developers for system enhancements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on metadata-related integration failures between modules.

Qualifications & Skills

• Functional and technical Expertise in PeopleSoft ERP or ERP Cloud with PeopleSoft (GL, AR, AP, Cash Management).
• Proficiency inOracle EDMCS,DRM, orPeopleSoft Tree Manager; advancedExcel/Smart Viewskills.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, and the Record-to-Report cycle.
