Equipment Operator

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in the Omaha, NE area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-40/hour based on experience plus $50/day per diem & lodging provided for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Operate heavy equipment, mini-ex trencher, fiber plow & reel trailers to install and maintain telecom outside plant fiber coax copper
• Read prints
• Plan jobs
• Locate utilities and execute installs safely and efficiently
• Perform digging & setting handholes/peds
• Place duct and working around live utilities
• Complete daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs
• Maintain quality/safety standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of heavy equipment experience in utility construction
• Class A CDL required
• OSHA 30 Heavy Equipment Operator certification
