Job Title: Senior Epic Security Administrator
Location: Rochester Hills, MI 48309 (Fully Remote – Preference for MI/OH candidates)
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: 3 Months with a strong possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $38 – $43/hr.
Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Epic Security Administrator to design and manage system access, security frameworks, and user roles within Epic applications. This role bridges technical and business teams to deliver secure, efficient, and standardized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain Epic security frameworks (roles, profiles, menus, security classes)
• Manage user access, authorization, and system security controls
• Coordinate security across application, infrastructure, and network teams
• Monitor and resolve system issues; perform root cause analysis
• Develop test plans and validate system changes
• Maintain documentation and support compliance with security policies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize workflows and system access
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Epic implementations/upgrades (minimum 2)
• Strong knowledge of Epic security and access management
• SQL experience required
Preferred Skills
• Healthcare industry experience (5+ years preferred)
• Experience with Unix
• Strong documentation and process improvement skills
