Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Denver, CO, for an Environmental Technician. The Environmental Technician will be responsible for conducting fieldwork and inspections, including environmental site assessments, bulk sampling, asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, and air quality evaluations. Additional responsibilities include supporting remediation projects, collecting field data, performing regulatory compliance tasks, and preparing detailed reports. The role requires collaboration with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.


Qualifications


  • Must pass a background check
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required
  • Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and client interactions
  • Ability to work on-site and travel locally as required


Previous Skills a Plus

  • Strong expertise in Environmental Services, including site assessment, sampling, and remediation
  • Proficiency in soil and groundwater sampling and analysis
  • Construction and Building System knowledge
  • Experience with asbestos and lead-based paint projects, including identification, sampling, and management plans
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards related to environmental health and safety
  • Certified Asbestos Building Inspector (CABI) or willingness to obtain certification
  • Certified Lead-Based Paint Inspector
  • Proficiency with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
